What is Chlorine – Bleach?
Bleach, often referred to as chlorine or bleach, is a general term for a household cleaning product that usually contains a solution of sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl). This solution is known for its strong bleaching and disinfectant properties. Chlorine is effective at killing bacteria, viruses and fungi, removing stains, and whitening clothes.
This powerful solution plays a crucial role in removing stubborn stains and restoring the original brightness of white fabrics. It is an indispensable product for cleaning and whitening toilets, refreshing drains and maintaining septic systems, ensuring a clean and odor-free household.
Bleach goes beyond plumbing; it is also used to disinfect kitchens, clean cutting boards and worktops and even to clean outdoor furniture. When washed, it not only strengthens whites, but it also helps combat mold and mildew in damp environments. For floors and tiles it is a powerful cleaner that efficiently breaks down dirt and oil.
For optimal use, bleach should always be diluted according to label instructions and it is important to ensure good ventilation during use. This not only guarantees safety but also ensures that the bleach can do its work effectively. After use, it leaves a radiantly clean surface and a hygienically clean feeling, which contributes to a healthier living environment.
